Product Marketer, Schools (Field)

Help Nigerian schools run better — one school, one state at a time.

Full-timeField-based2+ years experience
All 36 states and the FCT — you must live in the state you cover
₦20,000–₦200,000 monthly, depending on experience, plus performance-based earnings

School proprietors do not buy software from a landing page. They buy it after someone sits in their office, listens to how the school actually runs, and shows them — on a real screen, with their own numbers — what changes. That someone is you, in your own state.

What you’ll do

Own your state

Map the private and mission schools across your LGAs, work out where they cluster, and work it systematically. Nobody hands you a route.

Teach, then demo

Sit with proprietors, head teachers and bursars, understand the exercise books and spreadsheets they use today, and show them exactly what Klasstack replaces.

Onboard properly

Take a school from first conversation to a live account with real students, classes and fee structures loaded. The job is done when the school is actually using it.

Stay through the first term

Train the staff who touch the system daily and be the person they call in week two. A school you onboard and abandon is worse than one you never signed.

Bring the field back to us

You hear the objections, the pricing pushback and the missing features before anyone else. Feeding that to the product team is part of the role, not an afterthought.

Your first 90 days

Days 1–30

Learn the product until you can run a full demo with no notes. Sit in on real school conversations. Map your state — the LGAs, the school clusters, the proprietor networks — and build your target list.

Days 31–60

Run your own visits and demos. Onboard your first schools. Start recording the objections and questions that come up again and again.

Days 61–90

Hit a consistent weekly visit and onboarding rhythm, and deliver the first version of your state playbook — including which kind of school we should be going after hardest.

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • You live in the state you are applying to cover, and you know it well.
  • 2+ years opening doors face to face — field sales, business development, medical or FMCG rep work, or edtech.
  • Comfortable with cold approach: you can walk into a school with no introduction and leave with a meeting booked.
  • Able to explain software to someone non-technical without a trace of condescension.
  • Strong spoken English, plus fluency in the language most widely spoken in your state.
  • Organised enough to hold dozens of schools at different stages without dropping any.

Advantageous

  • You have sold into schools before, or worked inside one as a teacher, administrator or bursar.
  • An existing network among proprietors, proprietor associations such as NAPPS, or your state education board.
  • Experience as an early commercial hire, with no playbook handed to you.
  • A valid driver’s licence, or your own reliable way of getting around your state daily.

Who this is not for. If you want a desk-based marketing role — campaigns, content calendars, positioning decks — this is not that job. It lives on the road, inside schools.

What we offer

Your own territory

You are not one of thirty reps sharing a city. You are the Klasstack person in your state, and as the state grows, the team there grows under you.

Real ownership

You are early. The approach, the pitch and the playbook for your state will carry your fingerprints.

Proper support

Full product training, a team that answers when you call from a school gate, and field costs — transport and fuel within your state — covered.

The tools to do the job

Laptop, work phone line, and data.

Growth

The people who open the first states are the people we look to first when it is time to lead regions.
