Klasstack started with a simple observation: school administrators in Africa spend more time on paperwork than on education. Fee registers in binders. Attendance on paper. Results compiled by hand. We decided to fix that.
Our mission is to give every African school the same digital infrastructure that the best schools in the world already have at a price they can actually afford.
How we got here
We're two founders, and we both grew up around schools. So we didn't learn what's broken from a market report. We saw it up close, for years: the principal who is also the accountant, the weekend swallowed by results, the parents with no real visibility into what's happening at school.
The tools that did exist were either too expensive, built for Western school systems, or assumed reliable internet that most schools can't count on. Nothing was built for how schools here actually work. So we built it ourselves , and because we come from fintech, we built the money side with the seriousness that deserves.
Where we are today
The platform is built and running. Admissions, fee collection, results and report cards, attendance, timetables, staff, a full wallet layer, and parent communication, all in one place.
We're onboarding our first schools right now, by hand, one at a time. When you're asking a school to trust you with its fees and its students' records, “here's a link, figure it out” isn't good enough. We're a small, focused team building for the long run.

Student and financial data is sacred. Every school's records are sealed off from every other school's. We encrypt everything, we never sell data, and you can fully own and export your records at any time.
